This weekend I took the greyhound bus to and from my hometown, St. Petersburg. The bus was filled with the strangest assortment of people that i had ever seen in one place. Once conversation in particular that i heard was one between a short, obese, blonde women with a 6 month old baby in her hands; and a guy with a buzz cut, earrings, and tattoos all over his body. As they sat across from each other, i heard the blonde women say "I hope that there aren't any gay people that sit next to me, I like talking to gay people but I hate sitting next to them." Confused after hearing this random remark I heard the guy respond simply saying "yeah, that would suck alot." Then right after he said that, the women, as if needing to say it, said aloud "well i mean I'm bisexual so I'm kinda open to gays, I just don't wanna sit next to one." The man had no response (neither would I). And that was the end to the weirdest conversation that I had ever heard in my life. There really are the oddest group of people that ride the greyhound bus line.
