The source I used for my topic on the “We Can Do It” propaganda poster was from an online database. The source is a magazine article from the database elibrary. This resource seems very reliable because how informative and professional the database is setup. I was given access to this and many other databases through my high school. My school district paid for professional databases that would help the students with their research. Some websites can be misleading especially when looking unprofessional. I can usually tell if a website is unreliable when there is cut and paste pictures, and sloppy organization.
I believe the use of audio and video is more powerful emotionally than words alone. Both words and visuals can use the rhetoric device of pathos admirably, but I feel using a visual is more effective. I feel an image can describe a situation and build a foundation for the situation a lot easier than words can. Words can be very powerful too and are usually more appropriate in some mediums than others. For example the use of words is better suited for radio than the use of visuals.
