The advertisment I choose to use is a L'oreal ad from a magazine. It's of a young woman with shiney, rich brown hair. She is selling hair color and her hair color looks flawless. The fact that her hair color looks so flawless in the image makes it an effective ad. It conveys the message that if you use this hair color you will look like a star. This message comes across because of the words "Couleur de Star", meaning "Color of Star" written on the image. The author choose to put the picture of the young women with nice hair to show how well he product works and this, along with the french words, convey the message that the product works well.
