Today when I was waiting for my philosophy professor to come, two girls were talking about their night before. They obviously weren’t too awake yet being that this class is a morning one. One girl turns to the other and asks if she heard about the girl at Dayglo who stepped on a glass beer bottle, which then broke and sliced her foot open. The other girl then turns to her and asks her is she heard about the girl who slipped in the paint at Dayglo and cracked her head open and the paramedics were called. As I am sitting there listening to what these girls had to say, I am so happy that I chose to stay back and get homework done. Somehow between the paint everywhere and all of the injuries, I don’t really understand what would make these two girls go out again tonight in my class, but I am sure they will have more stories that I will get to over hear tomorrow morning! Hopefully no one gets seriously injured tonight.
