For my ad, I chose to use a anti-smoking advertisement. I found this ad I particular to be very effective. The bullet and cigarette being near the same size add a kind of dramatic effect. This ad is a real eye opener because a cigarette is being compared to something as sinister as a bullet from a gun. If you think about it, bullets have probably killed millions of people over the years. It is very possible that cigarettes aren’t that far behind in the death toll. This pictures dark and ominous feeling is contrasted only by the two words in white which read “quick” and “slow”. Those two words are the only words that need to be said. Those two words are the only words needed to bring this whole picture together. It is possible that they don’t need to be there at all. That is how effective this ad is.
